This workshop held at Maine Media Workshops in Rockport Maine was about learning to tell stories of people and their cultures. The workshop was lead by John Isaac. He shared his techniques for capturing compelling images of "People, Places and Things". From researching places and gaining access to story ideas and digital workflow, this workshop sought to provide direction and inspiration to photographers looking to improve their personal travel or assignment photography.

John Isaac has had a distinguished photography career, including twenty years with the United Nations in the Department of Public Information. During that time, John traveled to more than one hundred countries, photographing the struggles of our changing world.
