Mike was my loving brother that past away last year. May his kindness and loving nature be remembered by all that knew him.. We all will miss him dearly.

I went to high school with Mike in Westfield. We were good friends along with Linda Lex and Lance Proffitt. We played cards a lot at lunch. I was searching for him on the internet and came across this and was so saddened. I just found our friend Lance. Mike was a wonderful friend and I have always missed him...now I know I have another angel watching over me. BTW...the prom dates name was Nancy LaCorte. Fine memories I have. Always in my heart dear friend.

Happy Birthday Mike, It was 30 years ago this summer that we first met....I remember the day I first saw you applying for a job at the Raphael Hotel....I literally ran into you by the back door....you took my breath away...After you left the building I quickly found your application and made a big smiley face on it so Valerie Walker, would know it was yours...the beautiful blonde with the greatest smile....you got hired, we became fast friends, then roommates a year or so later...sadly never lovers...Mike, you touched all that knew you...You will always be in my heart..Rest in Peace ! I found this page on Saturday as I was sitting at my computer wondering what ever happened to Mike Bodi. I was really shocked to come across this page and since Saturday, the shock has become sadness. I met Mike sometime in late 1992 or early 1993 shortly after my parents passed away. From the moment we met I knew that he was a special person. He was always smiling and always willing to help other people. He had a lot of ambition for what he wanted to do in life and when we knew each other he was always so interested in design and computer aided design (CAD) programs. From the moment we met we spent almost all of our time together. He knew my family and my friends and I met his parents once when they visited Chicago. We traveled together around the US and to Scotland and England. In Scotland we stayed at Borthwick Castle, where Mary Queen of Scots lived and spent the night wandering and exploring. He was always so shy around other people and I remember that whenever we went out to eat, he was not the kind of guy who wanted to sit around¡Kit was always eat and go ƒº. I remember sharing a meal with Mike¡¦s mom and (and I think his dad too) once when they visited Chicago. We decided to share a place and moved in together in 1993. To be honest, things did not go very well for us during that time, but no matter what I always found myself thinking about him and always wanted the best for him. We stayed in the apartment for about a year then we each moved on. I don¡¦t even recall how it happened but eventually we lost touch and I moved to Europe for work. I ran into Mike once after I returned in a parking lot at Old Orchard shopping center. I was genuinely happy to see him but I could tell that he was with someone else and feeling a little uncomfortable so we just exchanged a few words. I never spoke with him again. I would think about Mike from time to time over the years and wonder where he was or what he was doing. Just recently I was with my friend Maria and we were talking and reminiscing about Mike. So, I guess you can see how shocked I was to find the memorial and especially eight years after Mike passed away. I feel pretty bad¡Kbad that Mike is gone¡Kbad that I didn¡¦t try harder to keep in touch¡Kbad for knowing that so much time has passed and bad not knowing if anyone will ever even read this because it has been so long. Mike¡K I¡¦m sure that you are in a great place now smiling from around us. You were (and are) an important part of my life. I will remember and miss you always. I will take this as an opportunity to be better at knowing people and following their lives and I will do it in you memory. God Bless. Jim

I was shocked to see this memoriam for Mike but I am glad to have found it. I was good friends with Mike in high school in Ontario. I lost contact with Mike after his family moved to New York and I have thought of him often. Can anyone give me some details of where Mike lived and how he passed? Thank you.

I had the pleasure of meeting Mike through my best friend Shelly..Mike and Kevin came for dinner at my home and I loved him from the first momentI met him.He was one of the nicest young men I have ever met.He brought me a bottle of wine and it is still sitting on my dining table.I will never forget that young man and how sweet he was.Shelly and I still remember things about Mike and we miss him so much.

Mike was a wonderful person and so likeable.We enjoyed him so much, wasn't a more caring person and we miss him so much.I'm so happy to have gotten to know him.He spent 2 Thanksgivings at our home and was such a pleasure,we miss him so much.

Thanks for all the pictures of Mike.They were very nice.I met Mike 3 years ago and like Mother said our family loved him.We all miss him very much.We are so glad he was able to spend Thanksgiving with all of us and we got to know him.He will be greatly missed.

Dear Greg,Even though I don't know You ,I feel as if I do..Mike admired you so much, he use to talk about you a lot.Mike was one of the sweetest most caring young men I have ever had the pleasure of knowing.He was like one of our family and we dearly loved him.He is missed so much by all of us.I am so happy that I had the pleasure of getting to know Mike and he touched our lives in so many ways.I know that he would smile about you doing this web page for him.I enjoyed the pictures so much and will look forward to some more of Mike and your family.
