On the 28th September of 2004 Jacques Meertens unfortunately passed away. I was very touched by this, because I considered Jacques to be both a "mentor" in photography and a true friend. In fact he was more than a mentor: through his typical honest comments he always managed to let me explore new approaches towards photography, maybe often without knowing it.

Therefore, one year later, I would like to present this little collection of images as a tribute to Jacques. These images were just selected from my other galleries, but the one thing they have in common is Jacques' influence...
