An image consisting of 119 x 2s light frames, 39 dark frames, 30 flat frames, and 40 bias frames, stacked in Deep Sky Stacker and further processed in Photoshop.
The exposure time had to be so short because I donīt have a tracking mount, and that considered I am astonished at the amount of detail the stacking revealed. The Horsehead Nebula hardly appears but was better visible at some point when I was experimenting with stretching of the data in DSS. However, to conserve detail in the Orion Nebula I sacrificed the Horsehead - probably I should have another go to tease out both features together...
