I never got tears in my eyes before by looking at a landscape. But I did when I saw the Aletsch glacier.
We walked from Kühboden (2212) towards the Märjela Valley and further on to Platta (2300 m). We first had views on the beautifull Fiescher Glacier and from Platta we could almost touch the Aletsch glacier. This Glacier definitely touched us. I never felt so small before.
My parrents went back to Kühboden from that point on, while I headed for the Eggishorn, with the promiss of an extraordinary view.
I wish to appologize if there are too many pictures to look at in one time, but feel free to come back when you find some more time. I would love to get back in real life...
Greg, if I had access to scenics like these I wouldn't be doing what I'm doing now. I would be making much more use of my camera outdoors. Nothing can equal what God already put there long before anyone ever heard of photography. Absolutely beautiful. Tom
