This is a bountiful habitat for small mammals and birds of all kinds. There's lots of cover and good eats. I hear elk in the lower meadows, but I have yet to see one. (maybe I'll be able to edit this text soon) There are wolves within 10 miles, but Ben and I are hoping they don't come any closer.
