NGC 3572 is a young star cluster, located in the lower middle of the image. Its distance from us is about 8700 light years.
Above the cluster is a richly structured emission nebula, full of dust and gas clouds. Those pointing to the cluster are known as the Southern Tadpoles, named so due to their distinctive shapes.
