I was trying to capture the back light on the edges of these thistles with the red bare willow stems as the background. when I processed the image, basically just boosted saturation a little and sharpened. I have no idea why the willows came out blue but I like it.
"Common teasel may reach 6 1/2 feet in height and is primarily a weed of roadsides, pastures, hayfields, and occasionally rosettes can be found in turfgrass. This weed is found throughout the United States except in the northern great plains."
