I guess we use the term camp to describe homes on the water in Louisiana. Years ago many people had simple camps (homes) on the water in these areas where they would vacation on weekends and during the summer months. Many of these camps have now turned into luxury homes. For some they are a 2nd home, but for many they were their one and only home.

Great shot of the devistation. This looks like the location where they filmed segments of the Oprah Show. I have a friend who has pretty much written off his camp without a visit. Chances are...
