This pic was one of the first taken with the *ist D
and I also like it very much. True, this pic with a
self-portrait in the droplets on top would have become a
very interesting shot.
In my opinion, the Tamron 90 mm works perfectly with
the *ist D. I used that lens already on my Pentax MZ-5N
and was absolutely happy when I saw that the very good results
with that combination could even be improved when attached
to the *ist D. So, let me know when you have taken your decision
in favour of the Tamron. I will keep an eye on your galleries ;-).

Wow! The resolution on this image is great :-)
It's a nice touch that you can see the flash in the droplets. If you had not used flash it looks like you would have had a self-portrait too!!
(BTW, the Tamron 90mm images look really nice too. I'm tempted to get that lense for my *istD too :-)
