The Taipei Museum ( http://www.npm.gov.tw/en/home.htm) houses some of the most treasured Chinese art in the world and the building itself is a wonderful sight to behold, especially when lit up at night.

Definitely worth a visit in the evening, especially given its proximity to the Shilin night market!
