Earlier this year, between end of February and the middle of March, I took several trips down around Everglades City, Florida. The first trip was with my buddy Bob and the next was with my wife Chris. We used our pop-up to spend the weekends down there and enjoyed the great food, lush vegetation and a plethora of colorful wildlife. This time period is the best time to visit as the Florida Air Force (mosquitoes) starts its bombing runs about the middle of March. Some of these pictures were taken along I-75 (Alligator Alley) and south to Turner Creek River, Everglades City and Chokoloskee Island park 3 miles south of Everglades City.
