After departing Boeing Field in Seattle, Washington, we got to climb above the clouds and much to our surprise we found Mt Rainier to our left, Mt St. Helens and Mt Baker to our right. In the picture of Mt St Helens, you can clearly see the top and side of mountain the was blown off during the May 18, 1980 eruption that many people lost their lives. I remember as a kid watching the eruption and its damage on TV and now I got to see it with my own eyes...Amazing.
