This is a wonderful composition. I like all the different shapes that break up the picture space in the background. Then there is the darker central figure and garbage can taht draw our attention. There is an ambiguity about this image. I'm not sure if the man is picking thru the garbage, but there is somethign really unsettling about that. And it's made even more so by the directness of the photo.

I like this a lot. Its in color but its almost B&W. Its very subtle. Not the guy rummaging in the trashcan but the image's tonal qualities and how they make the composition work so well.
