I am not a photographer so my question is how did you get this to look like a botanical drawing? It is really beautiful. I agree that the state of decline in this flower's growth has been beautifully immortalized.

Fascinating little composition, Gary - the colors are remarkably vivid, great background, and I love the orientation of the stem in the frame. Nice work!

Excellent. I like shooting dried or dead flowers as well because of the texture and color.
