Dear Lila, i am in total shock. Gary had such a sense of humor in his works and words, he was such a
good friend. I have been not very active on pbase for a while. However for a long time i started to wonder, why i had not heard from him, this morning i finally took the time to find out. A very sad morning. The last picture he posted, is a master piece. There are not any words to comfort you. Thank you for keeping the galleries up. I am sending you and your family my heartfelt sympathy, blessings and love. May your minds and hearts be at peace. Gary is.

very sorry for your loss lila. gary was a great pbase friend and was one of the first influences when i started digital photography. he will be dearly missed...

My darling husband of 18 years and best friend, Gary Becker, passed away on August 25, 2009. This is the last photograph he posted to pbase. I'll continue to maintain his pbase account as a loving memorial to his unique vision of the world. I'll also maintain his redbubble account, where people can buy prints and other stuff from his collection. I'll try to make regular additions to his redbubble site. Thanks to all who let him know that his art was appreciated. There are no words to express how much I will miss him. Lila
