This is the MATE, it´s a dry hollow little pumpkin, (but it is also made of other materials) filled with "yerba mate" and hot water (but not boiled), it is drink with a "bombilla", some people like it with sugar other not. It´s very popular in Argentina but even more in Uruguay.
