For the outside we had planned on doing a new front porch when we could save up for it, but thanks (not really but yes kind of...) to a severe hail storm we had to get a new roof and siding on three sides of the house. We had to figure out how to afford the 4th side and since we had the siding and shingles off why not try to get the porch done then too, and the front and back doors since they were both VERY leaky.
