From Flaming Gorge Dam (Utah) to Swinging Bridge (Colorado): 30 river miles from June 3-5, 2003.

The Green Rvr is often discussed in terms of sections: "A"=the Dam to Little Hole, "B"=Little Hole to either Indian Crossing or Taylor's Flat, and "C"=Indian Crossing or Taylor's Flat to Swallow Canyon or Swinging Bridge. On this trip we tried to divide the float a bit more evenly: Day 1 was from the Dam to Trails-End Camp (section B, below Little Hole); Day 2 took us from Trails-End to Lone Tree Camp (section C, just below Burnt Tree); and Day 3 we floated from Lone Tree to Swinging Bridge.

Fishing was stellar on the first day, good on the second, and mediocre on the third.
