Green River, Apr. 21-23

Darryl and I opened our 2005 flyfishing season with a trip to the Green River below Flaming Gorge Dam. Three days floating the "A" section fishing drys (midges and BWOs), nymphs, and streamers served as a warm-up for this years "Fish 'til it hurts" trip in May.

We spent much of our time just below "Mother-in-Law" (M-i-L) rapids, waiting for or fishing the BWO (Baetis) hatch.
