G'day from Tasmania Australia. My family have now rescued 24 starlings and have 8 as pets as they were not releasable. Oh my are the clever, can they talk, they NEVER shut up. We are a starling haven here. 4 holes have been knocked in our old farmhouse to rescue fallen trapped birds. We save starlings and we love them. Release them if we can, if not, they are welcome and loved here. Mum lives next door and has 2 of our recent spring rescues. Lovely wonderful photos!!!!

This bird is called a 'spreeuw' in Dutch and a 'protter' in Frysk (old Dutch). It is my all time favourite bird, because of the different colours and his character. The pictures are very, very nice. The colours are beautifull. Thanks.
