Rogue Legacy has returned! But now it's got two in front of it!
Rogue Legacy 2 can be described as a genetic Rogue -LITE. It includes the common trappings of a rogue-like, like randomized run and changing characters. It also comes with persistent upgrades and persistent dead heirs. It's a game where the grind is optional. Do your best and you'll go deeper into the bowels of an ever-changing universe. Or don't! There's no need to worry! When you combine hardcore platforming with a rich RPG strategy, anyone can take home a victory eventually.
...And really, isn't having that kind of choice the most beneficial? <3
Let's see what Rogue Legacy 2 IS:
A procedurally-generated adventure. The whole kingdom is changed in each life cycle, which means every run is not identical.
Rogue-LITE. Rogue-LITE. There is a way to win when you reach level 1. But not necessarily means it has to.
Universal Healthcare. Each child is different. Some might have Synethesia and others may be a pacifist, while some might just be slightly overweight. Socialism offers you bonus gold points when you have traits that cause the most debilitating effects compared to normal gameplay.
Castle Permanence. This is a place that is rebellious where the bosses are gone.
Each class (and there are many!) Each class now comes with its own set of weapons. You can either take down opponents from afar with the bow of the agile ranger or use the enormous Battleaxe that is the Barbarian.
Stack Runes Runes can now stack till the limit of. While it may take time, you'll soon be able to gain penta leap and lifesteal.

Though this website will be inactive for a while, Rogue Legacy will remain for ever.
