This is an experimental panorama. Rendered from six contiguous images and then processed into a reduced size image for Rusticana. The original was over twenty five megabytes. The image as seen here shows the entire Dier el Madina valley from the Ptolemaic Temple to the modern car park. Taken from the cliff edge above the town, the town layout is very striking. The Great Pit is just visible on the edge of the Temple but you have to know where it is to pin point it.
