This is Ramesses ll head. Photographed by Lenka Peacock and located in The British Museum. This was looted from the colossal wreck in the Ramesseum by G B Belzoni and transported all seven tons of him to The Museum under the auspices of Henry Salt The British Consul General in Egypt. Possibly around 1817/18.
