Valley of The Kings-West Bank Luxor

The guards had moved back to the entrance corridor as I held the Ricoh above my head and took one un aimed shot.
Notice, the outermost coffin did not fit, the foot end has been crudely adzed off . Carter found the chippings in the bottom of the Sarcophagus. Imagine the consternation of the working party to find that someone had screwed up so badly. Who would know, chop off the foot and lets get on with it. There was worse to come.. The chamber is small and very cramped and was packed with the unassembled walls of the four surrounding shrines. And some idiots had stacked them in the wrong way round in spite of the careful numbering system. They had to be bashed to fit. What a mess. Then they broke the lid of the sarcophagus in half as well, bad day in the Valley that one. Some poor bugger got a bucketing.
