The artisan village is in shadow. For seven hundred years, generations of workers lived here and worked in the Valley of The Kings and Queens. For some their names and tombs are known together with the names of their families and relations and the houses they lived in. The path along the scarp begins on the left above the village and ascends the hills behind. Its a good climb.
