This VBL panorama is termed by us as a “walking” panorama as in close up it is not practical to shoot from one central position because of linearity considerations.
Consisting of sixteen overlapping portrait images it was shot over the shoulder walking down the wall from West to East.
In addition to image stability needs whilst walking and shooting at the same time, the unseen “path” beneath the feet was a remnant ploughed field. Tricky.
