Wiang Kum Kam

Wiang Kum Kam is a town slightly southeast of municipal Chiang Mai. It was established sometime in the 13th - 14th Century, and basically disappeared after Burmese invasions and floods in the 16th Century. It wasn't until 1984 when remnants of the city were discovered and excavation work began. It's an on going process. There is a separate gallery on Wat Chedi Liam, which is part of Wiang Kum Kam here: https://pbase.com/gaiyang46/watchediliam
