Chongnyangni is an old central hub of northeastern Seoul. Built around the train station, it is a huge produce market, and it also has markets offering a diversity of traditional and modern goods and services. The images here were taken between 1988 - 1991. I last visited Chongnyangni in 2002 and found that, although some change had occurred, it was still pretty much the same place I had remembered it to be.
