While Living in the UAE, I had about a dozen or so galleries on Pbase, but somewhere between 2013 - 2014 there were numerous articles appearing in magazines, newspapers, etc. about people with cameras being sentenced to prison for photographing others. As most of my efforts are focused on the public arena, I decided to remove the images before getting into trouble. There are still a few galleries on this pbase page containing UAE images, but the subjects are not people. For instance, there is the desert gallery. Now that I am no longer there, I'll re-post what I think are interesting images taken in various places outside of Abu Dhabi (capital) and the Dubai metropolitan area.
