NGC 6822 (Barnard's Galaxy) - SCREEN SIZED

==== WORK IN PROGRESS ====
NGC 6822 is a dwarf irregular galaxy lying in the constellation Sagittarius at a distance of about 1.6 million light years. It is in fact a member of the Local Group and the fourth nearest galaxy to the Milky Way after the Sagittarius Dwarf Elliptical and the Magellanic Clouds (3 satellite galaxies of the milky way). It was discovered by E. E. Barnard in in the 1880s using a 6 inch refractor.

The seeing was very good for this image. Note the abundant IFN (Integrated Flux Nebula) in the frame.
