Collimating step #1

The first task in collimating an RC with a laser is to ensure that the center of the secondary is in line with the axis of the imaging train - ie the optical axis of the telescope. In theory, the circles drawn on the secondary define the optical center of the mirror, so the task is simply to adjust the left/right up/down position of the secondary assembly to place the laser dot on the central point. Alignment of this telescope out of the box appears perfect!
