I've been listening to audible books lately. My favorites of late are
Dune: The Battle of Corrin by Brian Herbert and Kevin J. Anderson
I love Sci-FI : )

I'm reading Michael Palin's "Pole to Pole" although I'm a few pages into the latest Harry Potter book. Since watching BBC's Himalaya, I've been reading Palin's books.

Pirates by Celia Rees. May be a bit young for you but its very good and good for history too. I would recommend it to any 12-14 year olds if anyone is listening!:-)

I'm reading Patricia Cornwell's Predator, only because I didn't decline the featured selection in my book club in time.

I'm also reading the Narnia chronicles to my 5 year old daughter. We finished the first book in about a week and are onto Prince Caspian. Unfortunately it appears the movie will be a bit too violent for her to see in the theater.

i'm still trying to get myself to finish Khaled Hosseini's The Kite Runner. good book, but i'm such a lazy reader; unless i force myself, i never read (except when it's Harry Potter, in which case I blaze through it in no time flat). -_-
