Maple Leaf

I've been messing around with photos of leaves and bark today, creating logo ideas. I've had quite a bit of fun. I've also been thinking about christmas presents.... it's soooo hard and absolutely no fun when you have no ideas. sigh!

my friends and i are boring, we simply agree not to exchange gifts. i guess we're far too practical... we figure, why give and receive things you don't really want...

if you want to create a logo, you're probably going to want to isolate the subject from the background. there's definitely a light gradient here with the background, i.e. unevenly lit. you need to make sure the entire area is evenly lit, e.g. use a light tent with a single overhead light
