This couple were getting married at the Miya Jima Shrine. They looked stunning and many of their guests were wearing traditional kimono too. I have to say that although they look fantastic the shoes seem to be very difficult to walk in.

lovely outfits... while i don't find the woman's footwear comfortable, the man's certainly does! i have a pair of slippers from Japan quite similar to the one the man is wearing and i love them! unfortunately i'm afraid to wear them because they were given as a gift and i want to preserve them, so i've only wore them briefly to try them on. :)
