Two minute silence

There was a two minute silence today. I know that there have been many recent disasters with greater loss of life but it doesn't make it any easier.

I didn't cheat with photoshop - this is a photo.

As my back is much better I'm going to start carrying my camera again tomorrow - I'm running out of things in the house to photograph - mind you... pbase is useful for insurance purposes.

Good idea, well executed. The photos of people in the street in London were amazing - I've never seen anything quite like it. I heard a young woman on Radio 4 talking about losing her Mum in the bombings. She spoke with such eloquence and dignity about the gradual realisation that her Mum was one of the victims. It was heart-breaking.
