We sponsor a child in Guatemala through Plan International . The child doesn't get the money direct - it goes to community projects but we do correspond with one child. It's a nice thing to do, we send her letters and small gifts - perhaps some pencils and drawing pads or a hairbrush and mirror. She recently sent us two of these woven mats - they are beautiful. We hope to visit the village one day.
