Fire

Sorry about the reflection in the glass. Tonight has been a strange one. First this bus caught fire - it's just at the junction of the houses of Parliament. Then a lorry smashed the side of my bus knocking off it's wing mirror. I'm safely home and not planning on going near another bus tonight!

I'll bet that was making the police a bit twitchy - glad to hear you're OK though.

This reminds me of a story my brother once told me. He was coming home from work near Birmingham and just after he stepped off the bus, the whole thing caught fire. Five minutes later it was a burnt out shell!

That is a busy junction. I often walk passed on the way to the DTI in Vic Street. Glad I don't have to drive !

You spend more time in busses than anyone I know. And, you manage to get good photos at the same time!

Self igniting buses and then bumper-bus on the way home - hope tomorrow is a bit less eventful!

I heard an amazing stat on TV tonight in a brief moment of stupidity when DM decided that 'Traffic Cops' would be a good way to while away a few minutes...(I soon switched it over) BUT the stat was that the Cheshire Fire Brigade rescue more people from crumpled cars than they do from fires....maybe they should rename the service???
