Tulips

My friend Kim came over today so I bought her a nice bunch of cheery tulips. I love this colour, they really make me think of spring and early summer - though unfortunately it's quite cold here today. I haven't got a photo of Kim to show you but she's asked me to take some photos of her and her daughter so watch this space. Mmmm is this a good time to raise studio lights with my husband?

Sure, bring up the lights, but frankly, I don't know why. You seem to produce fantastic portraits with whatever light you already have! :-)

Gail, the colors are beautiful in this photograph. And I especially like the composition, with the bouquet laying on a table, like they were set down waiting to be tended.
