We emerged from our car to begin this 6 mile walk and a group of hikers were already there and also just about to set off so they invited us to join them - which we did. They all lived fairly locally - many in Palm Springs and a couple in San Diego. They were such a friendly and interesting group - we really enjoyed ourselves and how kind of them to invite us.
