15.12.04

Wrapping presents is fun to begin with but as xmas draws nearer so the chore of wrapping gets worse. Not only that but trying to think of a novel gift gets more and more difficult. But then I came across this in the shop, immediately I was taken back to my childhood. My cousin was a mad subbuteo fan and we spent hours flicking the little footballers around the 'pitch', but I would only play if I could a) be Arsenal and b) be allowed to win. He was happy with a) since he's a West Ham fan but b) was more problematic. Well I thought that would make a great gift - but I'm not saying who it's for in case they are looking in. I'm not sure how well it will go down in this video age but in the words of the Rolling Stones "You can't always get what you want...."

I'm not expecting to be able to PAD again until the New Year so Happy Holidays everyone!

My stepson was addicted to this when I first moved to England; he always had to be Arsenal, too. I wonder what ever happened to his set.

Have a very good holiday!

Oh I remember this very well, we used to have a tournament every Sunday night :) I wasn't very good though!
