Wilbert, thank you for you kind words. I do not shoot RAW nor do I use any techniques such as HDR. I shoot in PMode; you can find
my s90 settings. in my s90 blog.
I am a minimalist when it comes to editing. After cropping and reducing an image in size, I typically only do a levels adjustment and slight sharpening (unsharp mask). For photos like the Marina, I'll select the sky, inverse the selection and then sharpen the foreground objects. I find selective sharpening works well for many photos. For people photos, I may slightly lighten the face.
These, and other editing techniques, can be found at my site under Advanced Editing.

I was admired by your great pictures taken with the S90 camera. I am also using S90 camera but the picture quality is not as good as yours. Your pictures are very clear, sharp and rich in color. Besides your good photographic technique, is it due to the difference in jpg and raw format? For outdoor photo, is it better to use the "positive mode" color or "vivid color" mode? If your have post processed the raw file, do you use DPP or other software? Did you use the HDR technique? Please kindly teach me those technique, thank you.
