Your photos bring back fond memories. Dad led 16 Scouts on the 66-mile Oxbow Trail hike from Stehikin to Holden Village in 1970. I remember great pie at the only cafe in Stehikin and bowling in the historic (set up the pins yourself) bowling alley in Holden. The hike was spectacular. We improved the trail head at Stehikin under the supervision of Forest Rangers and received the Gold Marmot Award upon completion of the hike. Thanks!

Wonderful photo gallery. My family is leaving in 2 weeks to visit chelan, and we just love it so much. Truly one of the greatest places on Earth!

Looks like vacation was just right :) Im heading up to bainbridge island this weekend for a bike ride- hopefully the weather will cooperate, and then in june Im driving from san francisco down to los angeles- look for more pics then :) take care and keep up the good work- ill be checking in from time to time!
