Super catch, Sandy ...... and the FZ30 came thru in a pinch. We had a Pileated visit here last year and I got a shot of it but not anything near as good as what you got. Knowing how shy they are I took pix thru the window first and then went outdoors and, sure enough, he was gone by then. You can be proud of this photos.
