I caught this guy crossing a local hiking trail; I had hoped to get a photo with him on the dirt trail, with a less-complicated background, but he didn't seem interested.
Though I hear they're pretty friendly, I wasn't willing to pick him up and place him on the trail.
Supposedly, when these tarantulas start to be seen moving around, the rainy season is getting near. We'll see.
