I looked it up on the web - I too was going to call it a red dragonfly - but then found the proper name. I don't have the dragonfly trained - but he/she sure was patient with me. I was having a hard time getting the proper focus. I probably spent around 15 minutes taking his/her picture. I took several with FZ30 and then several with the Oly E500 both hand held and on the tripod. I wanted to get a good picture of his/her face, but couldn't get in position and then the dragonfly took off.
