Thankyou both. Before this group I was more interested in getting reasonable 'normal' photos, but the range of photos to be found in the group has enlightened me a bit to expand my interests & see the world a little differently. This one came from having to sit for several hours in the one spot, whilst waiting to show some of our dogs, I decided to pull the camera out & zoom around & see what I could get as a 'different' photo from the usual people & widescreen landscapes of a jumbled collection of odd unspectacular buildings etc.
Anyway more to come I hope...
This is pretty neat, a little dizzying, but both of your abstracts are good.

Looking at this makes my eyes go funny, but I like the way the nails line up counter to the direction of the ridges. Sort of like little soldiers standing in a plowed field photographed from high above.
