Caged!

The photo actually shows more than I original expected. My intention was to photograph just the animal, but as you can see, the caged wires that enclosed him also show in the photo. Just to remind us, I guess, that he is not free.

I agree with Gary. Have actually made pic exactly like yours - mainly of caged birds. It amazes me that my FZ30 'understands' so well ;)) that I want it to focus on the bird and not the wires!

I agree, this really came out nicely; the wires are shown 'enough' to make their presence obvious, but without detracting from the subject; and in fact, adding meaning to the photo beyond what it would have been with just the animal itself.
