Pump Up the Color!

I took a photo of a tree with rather muted fall colors the other day.
I decided to see what I could do for the shot in Photoshop.

You should try it in black and white.
(just kidding 8^)
It doesn't look unnatural from here; nothing wrong with adjusting things to show what you saw in the photo.
