Not only did I stop down to f/11, I used a polarizing filter to reduce exposure.
The close distance would have washed out detail on the really bright ones.
Will post on my pbase the rest soon. No photoshop correction doneon these 2 shots.
I like the results at f/11, wouldn't have thought of stopping it down that far.
But this isn't fair, you're supposed to have to wait until next 4th of July to try these...8^)
